Science Curriculum, grades 1-4
"Don't forget- these are years to explore. As usual, we'll recommend some memory work. But don't be afraid to take off on tangents. There's no way you're going to cover the entire animal kingdom or every chemical reaction on one year's study, let alone the entire scope of physics. The foundation you lay now has to do with basic facts (the differences between insects and spiders, the names of constellations, the way different chemicals interacts, the parts of an atom). But it also involves enthusiasm. Have fun." -The Well Trained Mind
My goal with science is: discovery, nurturing curiosity, and asking questions.

Grades 1-4 I'm interested in doing a lot of hands-on activities.
The Young Scientists Club provides kits on various topics that can be mailed straight to your home.

As for curriculum, I'm looking for something not creationist based.
According to homeschool reviews in elementary science, I'm most interested in the R.E.A.L. Science Odyssey
